- Precision physiotherapy offers rehabilitation for patients with problems that affect the neurological system. This includes strokes, MS, Parkinsons disease, and more.
- We regularly help patients at home, whether it is to improve mobility, strength, balance, co-ordination, or improve a patient’s mobility.
- We will undertake a comprehensive assessment, looking at your range of movement, muscle strength, co-ordination, balance, and mobility.
- We will then teach you specific exercises designed to help you improve any impairments that we found at your assessment.
- If appropriate, you may receive joint mobilisations, soft tissue stretches, and advice on any specifics related to your condition.
- If any balance issues are identified, we will work with you to improve these over time.
- We will also assess your ability to move, transfer and walk safely.
- When required, we will help you to learn the most efficient and safe way to walk as possible (including advice on using walking aids).
- You will receive a comprehensive exercise program via e-mail after the appointment, so that you can continue your recovery at home.
